Part-Time Dishwasher

We are looking for a part-time diswasher for Sunday and Monday evenings. The shift starts at 4:00 pm and typically ends around 9:30 pm. Additional shifts may be available for interested candidates. 

What we can offer

  • We start our dishwashers at $11 per hour,  with opportunity for raises based on performance. 
  • A nightly shift meal is provided for all kitchen employees. 
  • Training is provided for staff interested in learning other kitchen functions. 

What we need from you

  • Most important, we need reliability. You  have to show up on time, for each of your shifts. Please don't apply for this position unless you are committed to do so. The types of tasks you would be responsible for include: 
    • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
    • Sort and stack clean dishes
    • Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
    • Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
    • Change dishwater in dish machine as needed
    • Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
    • Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
    • Set up or break down dishwashing area
    • Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
    • Sweep/mop floors
    • Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
    • Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
    • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
    • Other duties as directed

Line Cook

We are looking for an experienced line cook with a work history that shows reasonable commitment to prior employers.

What we can offer

  • Full-time / year-round employment with reasonable expectations for hours (typically 40 hours per week, with the exception of a few peak periods requiring overtime)
  • $15 per hour to start, with opportunity for raises based on performance
  • Health insurance (scheduled for implementation in late 2017)
  • 3 weeks paid vacation during April school break and Thanksgiving week
  • Paid days off on Christmas eve, Christmas day, and Fourth of July

What we need from you

  • 2 years experience on the grill and/or saute station
  • Ability to consistently cook meats to proper temperature
  • A team player willing to assist with all prep responsibility
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to an exceptional standard of service
  • Willingness to commit to at least a year of employment with us
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
