The Inn at the Mad River Barn

The directions we provide to the Inn at Mad River Barn take you here on our highway I-89 which is very scenic and is the most reliable way to get here in all weather conditions and seasons.

From the south on I-89 North in Vermont, take exit 9. At the end of the ramp turn left under the highway. At the "T" turn left on Rt. 2 east. Go only 0.4 miles and after the curve, turn right on Rt. 100B south. Follow this for about 13 miles, keeping straight as Rt. 100 intersects. After passing through the two villages in Waitsfield, bear right at the curve onto Route 17.*

From the north on I-89 South, take exit 10 in Waterbury, Vermont. Follow Rt. 100 South (taking turns as directed) approximately 14 miles through the two villages in Waitsfield and bear right at the curve onto Route 17.*

*The Mad River Barn is at 2.8 miles on Route 17 on your left. Come into the office in the white building.
